I have been a qualified Podiatrist since 2013. I am a member of the Royal College of Podiatry and HCPC registered.
I graduated from the University of Brighton and started off my career working in East Berkshire NHS foundation trust. I have experience in high risk, general, ulcer, musculoskeletal biomechanics and nail surgery clinics.

I am passionate about Podiatry and offer a caring, professional service. I can help in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of a range of foot problems and concerns.

I persued my career in foot health, after completing my training and qualifying with the SMAE institute (Dip.FH). I work in conjunction with my sister Hannah Dyer (MRCPod), within the Kernow Ear Health building and also offer home visits to those who are house bound.

Previously to foot health, I have worked in healthcare for over 10 years. I started within Bodmin Hospital outpatients before moving to general practice, then followed the path of qualifying in the Dental sector in 2018, where I was an Implant Nurse for years.
I chose foot health as I really enjoying helping my patients with any problems and to make a difference within the community. I offer a range of treatments for general foot health such as Nail Care, Neurovascular Assessments, Callus, Corns and more.

Services
​
Initial Consultation and Routine treatment
Foot problems and concerns including: dry hard skin, corns, cracked heels, nails (including thick, ingrowing and fungal nails), skin infections such as athletes foot and verrucae, toe deformities.
Verrucae treatment (Verrutop)
Debridement of verrucae and application of Verrutop. 3-6 treatments may be necessary spaced at every 2 weeks.
Biomechanical Assessment
For clients with foot pain which is not skin or nail related.
What to expect during appointment: I will assess the range of motion of the joints in the foot and ankle, look at your alignment and foot when standing and walking. Test the strength and flexibility of your lower limb. Look at you walking bare foot and assess your footwear suitability. This information will aid in my diagnosis and I can write a treatment plan for you which may consist of stretching/ strengthening exercises, footwear advice and orthotics.
Toenail reconstruction- using LCN Wilde Pedique.
Cosmetic podiatry suitable for both males and females. A strong elastic gel designed to cosmetically correct and restore damaged nails. Suitable if your toenail has been damaged and left with very little nail or is thickened and you are embarrassed about the appearance.
Diabetes Foot health check
It is recommended that everyone diagnosed with diabetes has a diabetic foot health check once a year. I can share my findings with your GP if you require and consent to this.

I have been a Registered Hearing Aid Dispenser since 2000, working for companies such as Amplifon, Specsavers and Claritas, and have been an independent audiologist since 2013. I can supply hearing aids from all of the major manufacturers so I’ll be able to find a hearing solution to suit most patients and most budgets.
After meeting Zoe to have my own ears cleaned in 2018 I joined the team at St Columb in December 2020 and I’ve had my Thursday clinic every week since then.
